NDC Helpdesk

Who is eligible for support?

Advice is being offered for developing countries’ government bodies responsible for coordinating NDC implementation, especially from partner countries of the Cluster. Also other government institutions and organisations can apply for support if their request is supported by the entity in charge of NDC coordination.

Types of requests covered

The request must clearly refer to a barrier/ a challenge to further developing or implementing the country’s (I)NDC that can be addressed through a short-term support service.

Example request:

We are planning to integrate the targets and activities stated in the INDC in our development planning processes. How do other countries achieve this? Are there good practices that we could use for orientation?

The energy sector is a focus sector for achieving the reductions targets stated in our INDC. We have developed a NAMA that targets energy efficiency in public buildings. However, a robust financing strategy is missing. We need support in further elaborating this.
