The German Environment Ministry established the NDC Support Cluster in the framework of its International Climate Initiative (IKI) to support developing countries in a timely and comprehensive manner with the implementation of their nationally determined contributions (NDCs). The Cluster is made up of different organisations and pools together projects from partner countries around the world.

The GIZ published the paper “Next steps under the Paris Agreement and the Katowice Climate Package”. The document provides guidance to policy makers and practitioners on key steps and challenges in the development, implementation and maintenance of NDCs, as well as the new transparency requirements under the Paris Agreement.
